Terms of Service

By accessing or using MutualSwaps ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all users, including those who browse, register, create swap requests, or purchase access.
MutualSwaps is an independent platform that helps USPS employees find potential mutual location swap partners. We actively scan for both 2-way and 3-way swap matches based on craft, employee type, current location, and desired location. We also provide an "Interested in Your Location" feature that allows users to express interest in swap partners who want to come to their location.
MutualSwaps is a connection tool only. We do not facilitate, process, approve, or guarantee any actual USPS transfer or reassignment. All official transfer activity must go through USPS directly.
MutualSwaps LLC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way connected to the United States Postal Service (USPS), the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC), the American Postal Workers Union (APWU), or any other postal union or organization. Use of USPS-related terminology is for descriptive purposes only.
By using MutualSwaps, you represent and agree that:
- You are a current USPS employee seeking a mutual location swap.
- All information you provide — including your craft, employee type, current location, and desired location — is accurate and truthful.
- You will not create fake accounts, submit false swap requests, or impersonate another person.
- You will not harass, threaten, or misuse the contact information of other users obtained through the Platform.
- You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, copy, or reproduce the Platform's code, design, or functionality.
- You are at least 18 years of age.
MutualSwaps is free to join and free to create a swap request. You only pay after MutualSwaps finds a match and you choose to unlock contact access. Viewing another user's contact information requires a one-time unlock fee of $4.99, processed securely through Stripe. This fee grants 30 days of access to reveal contact details for your matches.
Contact information is revealed once all required unlocks for the match are covered. Optional: a user can choose Unlock All to cover remaining unlock fee(s) for that specific match. Paying an unlock fee does not guarantee another user will respond.
All payments are non-refundable once access has been granted. If you experience a technical issue that prevented access, contact us at support@mutualswaps.com.
Phone numbers are collected solely to enable mutual contact between matched users. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Contact information is only revealed to the other matched user when both parties have active access.
By registering, you consent to your phone number being shared with a matched user once both parties have unlocked access.
MutualSwaps may offer optional SMS alerts for important account and match activity, such as new matches, unlock activity, revealed contact information, or 3-way swap progress. SMS alerts are not required to use the Platform.
Providing a phone number for account verification, login, or matched-user contact does not automatically enroll you in SMS alerts. We will only send SMS alerts if you clearly opt in after signing in.
By opting in to SMS alerts, you agree that MutualSwaps may send text messages to the phone number associated with your account. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your account and match activity.
You can opt out of SMS alerts at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP or INFO or contact support@mutualswaps.com. Opting out of SMS alerts does not prevent you from using MutualSwaps, and email or in-app notices may still be used where available.
You can still sign in, check matches, and receive email alerts if you do not opt in to SMS alerts.
MutualSwaps makes no guarantee that you will find a match, that any match will result in a completed USPS mutual transfer, or that any swap partner will respond or follow through. The Platform is a tool to help you find potential partners — the outcome of any swap attempt is entirely between the users and subject to USPS policies and procedures.
All content, code, design, features, and functionality of MutualSwaps — including but not limited to the matching algorithm, swap request system, unlock/reveal system, and "Interested in Your Location" feature — are the exclusive property of MutualSwaps LLC and are protected by copyright law.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of this Platform without express written permission from MutualSwaps LLC.
MutualSwaps LLC reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account at any time, without notice, for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, abuse of the Platform, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any fees paid.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. MutualSwaps LLC does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any match will result in a successful swap.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MutualSwaps LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to failed swaps, miscommunication between users, or reliance on information provided by other users.
MutualSwaps LLC reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
